About Us
The Dixie Pediatrics Story
Dixie Pediatrics began in the Spring of 1988 when Dr. Twiggs made the move to Saint George from Mesa Arizona. At the time St. George was a quiet stop along the Interstate with only a small medical community. Dr Twiggs was to become the only pediatrician in the area and would remain so for many years. From day 1 a dedication to the children of St. George has been his trademark. As the city of St. George has grown, Dixie Pediatrics has been here to provide care through all the growing pains. Dixie Pediatrics is dedicated to the community and continues to be an intricate part of what makes this city special. Dr. Twiggs remains with Dixie Pediatrics and has been joined by other providers who also share his desire to offer the best type of care because that is what they believe this community deserves. They invite you to come and visit with them to experience what sets us apart from the rest.
